Hello!

 I’m a painter, licensed product artist

and surface pattern designer based in

Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

I’ve been painting and drawing professionally for 20+ years, first as a childrens’ book illustrator and more recently focusing on acrylic painting, art licensing, and pattern design. I’ve licensed art for garden flags, greeting cards, paper goods, home décor, trays, mugs and fabric. Additionally, I’ve created art for over 40 kids books in the educational market as well as numerous kids magazine pieces, including the Highlights group. I use a combination of traditional and digital skills, and I excel at meeting deadlines, working efficiently and flexibly to meet client needs.

Hobbies: cherished time with our four sons,

daughters-in-love, and five wonderful grandkids, good page-turners,

(especially cop thrillers), estate sales, travel.
